I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, grew up in Rome Georgia, and went to school at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah. After graduating I moved to LA and began working at Luma Pictures. After a few years at Luma I worked at Hydraulx, and then a year later moved over to Rhythm and Hues. I worked at Rhythm for 5 years up until the bankruptcy, then worked briefly at Method in LA. I then flew out to New Zealand to work at Weta for a year. After Weta I moved to Vancouver BC where I have been working at Sony Imageworks for the last 4 years. Most of my background has been in VFX animation, but at Sony I've had the opportunity to bounce back and forth between full CG and VFX animation projects. I enjoy working on all styles of animation, and also do 2D animation in my free time. You can check out some of my personal work by clicking here. Also in my free time I collaborate with Burke and my wife, Anna, on side projects, which includes writing, storyboarding, concept work, and character design. We are interested in creating stories for short films, TV, webisodes, and full length features.
I play on a soccer league with a group of friends, play volleyball, go snowboarding, exercise, and enjoy hiking, camping, and fishing in beautiful BC. I enjoy teaching, mentoring, and helping others in general. Feel free to drop me a line anytime and say hi at firstname.lastname@example.org.
